I went to the doctor yesterday. Side note: it's annoying when you live in a small country town, and when you call the closest medical centre their phone is engaged for an hour. Then, you give up, and call the next closest town which is an hour away and the earliest you can get an appointment is 3:45 on Friday afternoon. Did I mention I called 9am Tuesday morning??
Anyway, it turns out I have seasonal asthma. At least, that's what the doctor has diagnosed me with. I've had this cough and shortness of breath for a week that sounds and feels a lot like the cough I had last year. That time I was given ventolin which helped a hell of a lot more than any cough mixture I was trying. And since it's the same cough, the doctor believes it's the same thing (makes sense I guess.) so it's back on the ventolin during winter.
